Nepal Holiday | Journey Through Nepal

Duration : 10 Days

This trip is a quintessential Nepal journey, starting from the central valleys of Nepal and ending in the Himalayan lower regions of the wilderness of Chitwan National Park. This Nepal holiday starts with a visit to various cultural heritage sites in Kathmandu.

Visit historic Durbar Square by walking through its narrow, winding alleys. Pass through street hawkers desperately trying to sell you a souvenir. The feeling of time travel will be very imminent as you walk through these medieval Durbar towns. Circumambulate around the biggest Stupas and monasteries. The constant rotating prayer wells, monks in their red robes chanting mantras, and the hypnotizing smell of incandescent candles, all of these add up to a wonderful experience.

Later, your Nepal holiday proceeds to Pokhara. A three-night stay in this city of lakes and mountains will spoil you with breathtaking views of the Himalayas, crystal-clear lakes, and a relaxing lakeside ambiance. Then, your holiday in Nepal proceeds to the peaceful hill town of Bandipur. At this place, experience a living museum of traditional Newari culture. Later in the evening, stretch your legs by exploring this charming town. Furthermore, you may hire a guide and hike to some popular attractions in Bandipur.

The following destination on your Nepal holiday itinerary is Chitwan National Park. This protected national park is home to the Bengal tiger, one-horned rhinoceros, gharial crocodile, and various exotic species of birds. Dugout canoe rides, jeep safaris inside the National Park, elephant back safaris, and jungle walks are the prime activities to observe the park’s flora and fauna.

Later, drive back to Kathmandu retracing the same highway back. This last evening of your Nepal trip, enjoy a farewell dinner at an authentic Nepali restaurant with cultural shows.
