Itinerary : 12-Day Luxury Nepal Tour : On The Foothills of The Himalaya

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the hotel.

This afternoon, walking tour of medieval, which is the cultural heart of the city. Later,  tour of 2,500 year old Swoyambhunath Stupa, one of the city’s most recognizable site.

After breakfast, tour of the most sacred Hindu site of Pashupatinath temple complex.

After the visit continue on to the biggest Stupa of  Boudhanath.

Afternoon, drive outside the valley to visit Bhaktapur , the third largest town in Kathmandu valley famous for string of temples, monastery, courtyards and monumental squares.

After breakfast, drive to Pokhara Valley.

Pokhara is the second famous destination after Kathmandu. At 850 meters, Pokhara enjoys mild climate  and magnificent view of the Himalaya.

Upon arrival in Pokhara transfer to the hotel. Later evening, stroll around the famous lakeside area.

Today drive to Nayapul (1 hr) and start commencing your trek. Trek along an edge which finishes in the Modi Khola Valley.

Arrive the little town of Birethanti, where you will cross the iron bridge, with prayer flags, over the Modi Khola River. Here you’ll walk parallel to the waterway on a soil track before reaching to the lodge.

Today walk close by the waterway before bearing left and beginning the moderate climb to Ghandruk. You will climb decently consistently upwards on well-paved trail. Following five to six hours, you will arrive the town of Ghandruk, which has incredible view of the valley underneath below. You will have a superb view of Annapurna mountains.

Wake up early today and watch sunrise over Annapurna South, Annapurna 1, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, and Fishtail. Later explore the mountain town of Ghandruk and the encompassing farmland.

Leaving Ghandruk, return by walking to Birethanti through little towns and tiny rural hamlets. Passing Shauli Bazaar, proceed to Birethanti for an overnight stay.

Today stroll to Majgaun where you can appreciate spectacular views of Himalayas. After lunch visit the nearby town of Tanchok where you will have a chance to talk with local people, presently made into a museum, and the opportunity to visit welcoming neighborhood school.

After breakfast leave Majgaun and visit the pristine town of Patlekhet and Pothana where numerous Tibetan merchants live.

The present walk is especially delightful with the course twisting through sub-tropical woods prestigious for tree orchid, dynamic rhododendrons and pretty magnolias.

Appreciate clearing perspectives on the whole Annapurna Range, and later visit the old town of Dhampus.

Today descend through the wooden hill side and terrace farmland and after lunch drive back to Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara, transfer to the hotel. Afternoon,  visit Pokhara town, including Seti stream gorge, Devi’s fall, Gupteshwor cave and so forth.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly back to Kathmandu.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free.

Evening, transfer to an authentic Nepali restaurant for farewell dinner followed by cultural tours by different ethnic groups of Nepal. After dinner, transfer back to the hotel.
